Netizens disgusted by viral video of airplane passenger’s behaviour

Sometimes you think that you have seen everything there is to see. And then, you see things like this:

A recent viral video was posted on Twitter and caught the attention of many netizens. The  video showed an airplane passenger’s appalling behaviour as he sat on the front row resting his feet on the bulkhead and swiping the touch-screen in-flight entertainment using his toes.

The person who first posted the video said that, contrary to what others may have wondered, the man in fact had arms and hands, as he was earlier seen carrying his bags.

The behaviour is far from criminal, of course, but definitely questionable in-flight etiquette.

One may wonder what if the passenger was too lazy to reach for the screen or if he just did not know or care that his behaviour is reprehensible to many.

The original tweet did not indicate whether the passenger was called out during the flight for his unsightly foot acrobatics.

Netizens, never scrimping on hyperbole, commented that it was the “most disturbing thing” they have seen on Twitter so far.

Another netizen advised everyone with plans to fly to follow Naomi Campbell’s airport routine. In the related video, the world-famous model wore gloves and sanitized her seat, arm and headrest, trays and TV screens. She took several minutes to “clean everything [she] could possibly touch” on the plane.

This is what I do on every plane I get on. I do not care what people think of me,” Naomi said.

After seeing the toe antics of the previous passenger, Naomi Campbell’s pre-flight routine is making more and more sense for everyone on the fence about personal in-flight sanitation quirks.

Looks like sanitary wipes sales at airport convenience stores will hit an all time high from now on./TISG
