SINGAPORE: HDB residents and nature enthusiasts in Singapore were treated to a captivating sight this week as a rare native Sunda Colugo was spotted gliding in front of an public housing block in close proximity to Bukit Batok Nature Park. The remarkable sighting of this unique animal has sparked excitement and admiration among locals.

A video capturing the graceful flight of the Sunda Colugo was uploaded to the Complaint Singapore YouTube channel, quickly garnering attention and generating interest in the elusive creature. The footage shows the creature gliding effortlessly through the air, from one tree in front of the block to another, as onlookers admired how beautifully it moved.

48-year-old man found dead in Tampines flat

SINGAPORE: Residents at Block 230E Tampines Street 24 were left shocked on Thursday evening (June 22) when a 48-year-old man was discovered deceased inside a unit. The police have classified the case as an unnatural death.

The Singapore Police Force said that the man was discovered at around 6:16pm, after the authorities arrived at the unit and found him lying motionless within. Despite the arrival of Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Driver dies on the spot in tragic crash along PIE

SINGAPORE: Tragedy struck on the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) on Thursday evening (23 June) after a car lost control and collided with another vehicle, resulting in a devastating accident that claimed the life of the male driver. The incident occurred around 9pm on the PIE towards Changi, near the Bukit Timah exit.

Eyewitnesses captured the harrowing scene on video, subsequently uploaded to the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page. According to the footage, a black car suddenly swerved from the first lane on the right to the second lane, seemingly attempting to overtake the vehicle in front. However, realizing it could not manoeuvre, the black car swiftly switched back to the first lane.


16-year-old arrested alongside 8 others in massive phishing scam that saw victims lose CPF deposits

SINGAPORE: The Singapore Police Force (SPF) has apprehended nine individuals, including a woman and a 16-year-old boy, in connection with an elaborate bank phishing scam.

The arrests were made as part of an island-wide anti-fraud law enforcement operation conducted by the police this week, from 19 to 23 June. Two women and a man are also currently assisting the authorities with their ongoing investigation.

According to property platform 99.co, this transaction has surpassed the previous record of S$1.418 million held by a 5-room HDB resale flat at SkyTerrace @ Dawson.
