A Filipina domestic helper seems to have won the employer lottery with Thomas Tuchel, who is widely regarded as one of the best football managers in the world, winning the Champions League in his first year as the head coach of Premier League club Chelsea.

But as it turns out, he’s also a pretty amazing human being who went out of his way to help, not only once, but twice, the woman who cleaned his home, in extraordinarily generous ways.

The Achievers Workforce Institute (AWI), an Ontario-based institute that specializes in organizational research, surveyed a selection of, 5500 respondents on job retention from December 2021 to January 2022. Five hundred people among those surveyed are employees in Singapore.

According to their fifth annual Employee Engagement & Retention Report from Achievers Workforce Institute (AWI), there’s a high level of workplace dissatisfaction in many places around the world, including Singapore.

Monkeys break into Yishun primary school, causing teachers & students to hole up in classrooms to keep safe

Singapore — The entrance of monkeys into the grounds at a primary school in Yishun last week caused the teachers and students to lock themselves into classrooms while the animal was on the loose.

Monkeys had been seen near Chongfu School on Wednesday (Feb 16), prompting school authorities to warn parents, reported Shin Min Daily News on Feb 19.

7 of the 13 people arrested in connection with OCBC phishing scam charged

Singapore — The Police announced on Sunday (Feb 20) that 13 people have been arrested over the recent OCBC phishing scam that victimised 790 victims whose losses added up to S$13.7 million.

Seven of the arrested individuals have been charged. 

Of the 13, nine are males from the ages of 19 to 21, and four are females aged 19 to 22.
