After an argument with his wife, a man inside a private hire vehicle (PHV) allegedly jumped out of the moving car, resulting in injuries to his limbs.
The PHV driver took to Facebook page Professional PHV Drivers Singapore on Saturday (July 23) to share his experience.
“Passenger jumped out of my moving car after fighting with his wife. What a spoiled day! Grrrr,” the driver wrote.
He attached photos of the incident’s aftermath, showing the black Honda passenger door open while in the middle of the lane.
It appears that the incident happened along Cluny Road in Tanglin.
Up ahead, individuals were standing by the kerb.
Police officers were spotted talking to two of the individuals in another photo.
A Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) ambulance was also on standby at the scene.
The driver added in a comment that the passenger was bleeding from his hands and legs.
SCDF confirmed being alerted to the incident at about 8:55 am on Saturday. One person was conveyed to Singapore General Hospital for medical assistance.
Netizen Andrew Tang noted that humans would get hurt doing such a stunt. Furthermore, other road users could have been dragged into an accident.
“Think like cartoon characters, but ones are not. Cartoons can jump out of cars but would survive. A human would get hurt and also may pose dangers to passing vehicles. More lives may be involved. What was so big or hurtful that one cannot swallow the pain for a while.”/TISG
