Yesterday afternoon, a Land Transport Authority (LTA) car crashed into a power supply box, before having its trajectory stopped by a tree.

The incident happened along Kranji way and also involved a minibus owned by the Kranji Countryside Association of Singapore.

Pictures circulating online showed a badly damaged power supply box as well as the front end of the LTA car smashed against the tree.

There were no passengers in the LTA car, while a both the driver and passenger on the minibus were unharmed. There were also no other injuries reported by the police, who arrived on-scene at 2.30pm.

Netizens had a field day with this and even took to Facebook to post GIFs ridiculing the whole incident.
