Malaysian actor Henry Golding is making it big ever since his huge break with Crazy Rich Asians. The actor was part of the iconic 8TV Quickie crew and also working as a travel host before being asked to act in Crazy Rich Asians as the main character.

Crazy Rich Asians, one of the biggest movies of 2018, is based on a book with the same title. Henry Golding was recently named as one of the Top 100 Most Handsome Faces of 2019.

His latest movie, Last Christmas was just released in which he co-stars with Game of Throne actress Emilia Clarke and fellow Malaysian and Crazy Rich Asians co-star Michelle Yeoh.

Last Christmas officially became the top movie in UK last weekend! The movie outranked Joker according to Screen Daily.

On its opening weekend, the movie made £2.6 million which is quite a feat. Netizens have been praising Henry Golding for his performance in the romantic comedy.

The Malaysian actor is of English and Iban ancestry and he was born in Sarawak, East Malaysia.

After working as a hairdresser in London for a few years, he moved to Kuala Lumpur to pursue a career as a TV host before making his big break in acting.

Born as Henry Ewan Golding on February 5, 1987, Golding also does modelling and is a travel host for BBC’s The Travel Show since 2014.

He played Nick Young in Crazy Rich Asians, Sean Townsend in Paul Feig’s thriller A Simple Favor and Tom in Last Christmas.

The star met Liv Lo, a Taiwanese host and yoga instructor on New Year’s Day 2011 and became engaged in 2015.

In 2016, the couple got hitched in Sarawak, Malaysia.
