Justin Timberlake made the headlines on November 23 but it was not for the right reasons after he was photographed with Alisha Wainwright, his Palmer co-star in a questionable posture for a married man.

The Sun reported that the two were spotted holding hands with one photo showing the 30-year-old actress with her hand on Timberlake’s knee. The media outlet obtained photos and videos of the two co-stars.

An insider told E! News that there was nothing going on between the two.

The insider added that Timberlake and Wainwright were out with the cast, crew, makeup artists and everyone was just hanging out in a social setting and they are just working together.

Other than that they are filming together, there is no validity to any other rumour.

After two weeks since the photos were made public, Timberlake finally broke his silence on Wainwright incident in an Instagram post.

Timberlake said in the post that he avoids gossip as much as he can but for his family, he feels that it is crucial to address the recent rumours that are hurting the people he loves.

He added that nothing happened between him and his co-star even though he had a strong lapse in judgement.

Timberlake said he drank too much that night, and he regretted his behaviour and that he should have known better.

It was not the example he wanted to set for his son and he apologised to Jessica Biel and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation.

Timberlake said he focuses on being the best husband and best father he can be and the incident did not reflect that.

He also said he was incredibly proud to be working on Palmer and he was looking forward to continuing the movie and was excited for people to see it.

Another insider told E! News that Timberlake and Wainwright’s hangout was innocent and nothing more. Timberlake shared the same sentiments.

On October 12, 2012, the Cry Me A River singer got married to Jessica Biel and they share a four-year-old son together, Silas.

The former *NSYNC member headed back to work on the set of his upcoming drama, Palmer on November 25.

An insider for E! News said the two are moving on from this momentary lapse in judgement.

According to the insider, Timberlake and his wife are downplaying everything and trying to laugh it off as if it is nothing, but it was definitely inappropriate and something that would make any wife uncomfortable.

He added that Timberlake had too much to drink and got carried away but their marriage will survive.

Timberlake feels guilty for what happened and he is trying to make it up to Biel.

The insider added that Biel is good to Timberlake, and he knows how lucky he is. He said it was not a big deal, and they were all hanging out together and that’s the end of the story.

It’s great to hear from the 38-year-old star himself even though all signs show that nothing happened between Timberlake and Wainwright.
