Amarkala Deepavali – Mediacorp’s annual countdown show to welcome Deepavali – has become a tradition for the past couple of years. After the limitations brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the event physically commenced once again last Oct 23, 2022, at The Theatre.
Guest of Honour, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance, and Second Minister for National Development, Ms Indranee Rajah, kicked off the Deepavali celebrations in style! Wishing everyone Happy Deepavali!

More so, the comedy rollercoaster telefilm, The Jambulingams, is now available on meWATCH this Deepavali. This show is about 3 wives who became tired of their husband’s egos and decided to let go of their responsibilities and take a break. However, Deepavali holiday is only around the corner. By the end of the film, the audience will know if the husbands are able to prepare his family and home just in time for Deepavali.
