SINGAPORE: A man took to Facebook to appeal for help after his 18-year-old dog, Killer, had gone missing. A man and a woman who were out walking three or four medium to large dogs allegedly took the beloved pet of Mr Stanley Tan.

Mr Tan posted online about the abduction of Killer, which occurred on June 7. As of last week, she has not yet been found. Signs describing the abduction have also been posted at Siglap.

A police report has been filed by Mr Tan and his family as well. Witnesses who saw Killer being taken say that the couple who took her appeared to be professional dog walkers. “The abducters misled the person who picked our dog up on Elite Park Ave (Jalan Tua Kong junction on 7 June at 5pm and took our beloved dog ‘Killer’ away,” wrote Mr Tan.

He provided the following descriptions: Chinese man in 30s, fit looking about 1.7 to 1.8m, fair skin and Chinese woman mid 30s, long hair tied in pony tail and fair skin. The pair often walks dogs at Jalan Tua Kong/Elite Park Ave and, by extension, the park connectors.

“It was recounted to us that they recognised our dog and knows our house number. They said they would help return Killer but she never came back to us. Killer was loved, pampered and treasured for almost 18 years now (she is often commented that she looks healthy for her age).”

Mr Tan wrote that the couple seems to have “made their own judgement that we were unfit to care for Killer and took her away from us.”

He added that his family is pained at the thought of the stress Killer must be experiencing due to her current unfamiliar surroundings

“I am now in a state of desperation to locate her ASAP.

I sincerely plead for any information to locate her abductors.
