Britney Spears pregnant with child No. 3

Britney Spears has revealed that she is pregnant with her third child. The singer posted the news on her Instagram account saying she had taken a pregnancy test after her partner, Sam Asghari teased her about being ‘food pregnant’.

Spears was recently released from a conservatorship that she claims prevented her from marrying and having additional children. She was released in November. The singer had earlier accused her father and her conservatorship team of refusing to allow her to marry her fitness trainer boyfriend, Asghari or have children with him.

She said that the conservators had also made her get an IUD as a form of birth control, so she cannot “currently have children, even though she wanted to get married and have a baby”

The singer was placed in the conservatorship in February 2008 after she was hospitalized twice following a custody dispute with her ex-husband Kevin Federline. Consequently, her father, Jamie Spears, was put in charge of her financial and business affairs, which included decisions about her personal life.

During a hearing in November 2021, Judge Brenda Penny terminated the arrangement as Spears and her legal team fought for her right to make decisions again.

Meanwhile, Asghari wrote in an Instagram post that he was looking forward to becoming a father.

“Fatherhood is something I have always looked forward to, and I don’t take it lightly,” he said. “It’s the most important job I will ever do.”🙏
