A post shared by Chen Bangjun 陳邦鋆 (@andiechen)

He openly mentioned that he is afraid of letting people down, especially his partner, children, parents, and himself.  He is also frightened of not getting another job, of not making enough money to provide himself and his family with their needs and wants in life, and for not being talented, smart, or hard-working enough as a human being.

More so, he is afraid of being too different and slow, not being special or famous for many people to know, of being punished, and of being and dying alone.

“Begone thy shadow” he added as a reminder to himself of the darkness that he is experiencing in his life as of the moment will be gone.

“I don’t want to be afraid anymore. I want to live” he said as he ended his note.

Other Singaporean celebrities and his supporters saw and read his emotional sharing and left encouraging messages in the comment section. People who are also experiencing the same situation as him expressed their thoughts and feelings as well.
