CHINA: According to The Straits Times, the Taiwanese-Japanese actor Takeshi Kaneshiro has made a comeback after nearly three years away. The star resurfaced on Weibo on March 27 around 8 pm when Muji China showed his photos.

The post from Muji China was incredibly poetic. It was referring to nature and being tranquil. It also said that all answers can be found in nature and that they should pay heed to the grass and wind. Muji also named Takeshi as their “Muji Friend”.

Everyone praised Muji for enlisting him

Takeshi looked comfortable in the photos.

One shows him riding a bike down a country road while sporting khaki trousers and a white T-shirt. The other shows him looking really laid back in a blue shirt and trousers. It seems like he has not aged at all.

Netizens praised his youthful looks and Muji was also applauded for selecting him. The next day, a two-minute video was shared. The atmosphere is calm with some nice music and him in nature.

Just calm vibes, no talking. They described it as a behind-the-scenes glimpse of his filming, showcasing his “peaceful, joyful existence”.

Cool to see him back in the spotlight

We haven’t seen him much, so it’s kind of a big deal. In 2021 the star was in an ad for a mobile game and then in 2022, he was on the cover of ElleMen China. He was in films such as Red Cliff, and Anna Magdalena. His final film was in 2017, This Is Not What I Expected. In 2018 he filmed a crime thriller called Sons of the Neon Night but it has not been released. It is cool to see the actor back in the spotlight.
