It looks like some babies may have it really good. Dior has launched a luxury perfume just for them at a staggering $USD230.
The fragrance, Baby Dior Bonne Etoile Scented Water has soft notes of pear, wild rose and white musk. It’s considerably higher than any of Dior’s adult range of scents includes Dior Sauvage which is priced at $145.
Dior’s baby perfume
The perfume was created by Dior Perfume’s creative director, Francis Kurkdijan and Baby Dior’s artistic director Cordelia de Castellane. The formula is apparently a revival of a fragrance from 1970.
Women’s Wear Daily reports that Bonne Etoile Scented Water is an “eau den senteur” which means it’s alcohol free and scented so it’s suitable for babies and toddlers.
The website says, “It’s more than a scented water. It is an object imbued with reverie that can be personalised with the colored ribbon of your choice to accompany your child like their lucky star.”
“A caress, a scent, an emotion: Baby Dior Hydrating Milk is an ode to the discovery, tenderness and sweet memories of childhood. Created to meet the needs of even the most delicate skin, this baby moisturizer is composed of 99% natural-origin ingredients and infused with a mallow extract renowned for its ability to guide water to its petals.”
The bottles come in pink and blue and features stars and hot air balloons as well as an imaginary garden in Granville, which is Dior’s childhood home located in Normandy in France.
The range also features skincare such as a moisturizer for babies at $115 and a cleansing foam at $95. So if you have money to spend on pampering your baby or toddler check out these products which are already available in stores.
