SINGAPORE: If you missed out on buying a ticket for the biggest tour of our times, Taylor Swift’s The Eras tour, you still have the chance to get it now for free! The very lucky grand prize winner at Heartware-East Coast Youth Festival will get to see Swift in action, organizers announced on Friday (Nov 3).
The first-ever Heartware-East Coast Youth Festival will take place at the open field near 131 Bedok North Avenue 3. Those who would like to get a chance to see Swift in action need to register for the festival using this form before Nov 4 to redeem a bingo card. But you have to complete your bingo card at the festival to qualify. However, Gen Xers don’t qualify for the raffle, as it’s only open to individuals between 13 and 35.
“Many people asked me is it true we’re giving out Taylor Swift concert tickets this Saturday. Yes, it’s true!” said Senior Minister of State for National Development and Communications and Information, Mr Tan Kiat How adding that he’s also been asked if he too will see The Eras tour, but he said he’s too Gen X for that. However, he added that the lucky winner may bring a family member, a friend, or a loved one along, as a Taylor Swift concert is presumably too good to enjoy alone. People should have someone to sing “Bad Blood” with, after all.
And while the poster on Instagram only teased that the event will be making a lucky Swiftie very, very happy indeed, writing only that the “GRAND LUCKY DRAW proudly sponsored by @sgpools” would win someone a “VIP seat to one of the SOLD-OUT concerts! 🎶 You-know-who! 🤩,” the matter was settled by Mr Tan in a Facebook reel on Friday afternoon.
