Ronny Chieng one-night show in Singapore this September; check out tickets info, venue, and other details

SINGAPORE: Malaysian-born comedian and actor Ronny Chieng will return to Singapore for a one-night-only live comedy performance in September 2023 at The Star Theatre at Star Vista. This will be his first show in the country in four years, following his 2019 Tone Issues Tour at the Esplanade Theatre. 

In an Instagram post, the comedian posted the official poster of his event. He stated in his post caption: “SINGAPORE! I’ll be performing in Singapore for one night only on Sep 13 @thestarperformingartscentre Presale tickets available NOW ronnychieng.com”

For tickets, the show will have a presale event online on Sistic at 10 am July 18, which ends at 11:59 pm tonight. General ticket sales will happen the following day, July 19, at 10 am via Sistic. Details of ticket prices will be revealed soon. The show will be held on September 13.

Chieng will also perform in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, on September 15 and 16, respectively. 

For those not in the know, Chieng made his debut film role in Crazy Rich Asians. He also appeared in movies such as M3GAN, Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Joy Ride. Recently, he starred in the Disney+ drama series American Born Chinese. 

Aside from performing live, Chieng also has Netflix comedy specials, namely Asian Comedian Destroys America!, Ronny Chieng Takes Chinatown, and Speakeasy. 

Chieng started his comedy career performing with South African comedian Trevor Noah. Trevor is well known for being the host of The Daily Show.
