Workers’ Party (WP) secretary-general Low Thia Khiang suffered a fall at home earlier this week and fractured his wrist. His hand is now in a cast. But that did not stop him for turning up to meet the people at Serangoon Gardens today.
Not only the secretary-general of the opposition party but also its Chairman, Sylvia Lim, had aggravated an old injury to her hand and had to put on a wrist-guard.
Sylvia LimWP MPs Pritam Singh and Faisal Manap too were nursing injuries, but turned up nevertheless for the walkabout. Pritam and Faisal were part of the Parliamentarian team which played an exhibition match with Valencia CF to raise over $500,000 for charity.
