Shocking confession: Michael Jackson’s ex-wife says she participated in his drug addiction

Micheal Jackson’s family is in shock after his ex-wife Debbie Rowe’s confession that she took part in his drug addiction.

Speaking on TMZ Investigates: Who Really Killed Micheal Jackson, Rowe spoke about Hollywood dermatologist Dr Arnold Klein who gave Jackson the powerful opioid Demerol in the months leading up to his 2009 death.

“I was basically as bad as (Klein). I regret that. I will regret it. And I am so sorry that I participated in it.

Rowe’s confession however comes as a surprise to the Jackson family.

Jackson’s mother Katherine, 92 and Randy, 66 are wondering why she is saying all these 13 years after his death.

“The feeling always was that Debbie was there to help Michael as his nurse. Now her comments have made some of them look at her in a different way,” said one Hollywood insider.

Rowe confessed that she “sucked as a human being” for not speaking up about Klein or Jackson on substance abuse.

“It’s no secret that there are strains between Debbie and some of Michael’s brothers. But this has brought many emotions and concerns about Micheal’s interactions with Klein back up again,” said the source.

Jackson died of a heart attack in 2009. The Los Angeles Police Department coroner at the time, Ed Winter had said that the singer had enough of the powerful sedative Propofol in his system to “put down a rhinoceros”.

Micheal Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011 for injecting the singer with a fatal dose of Propofol. However in an interview with LAPD detective Orlando Martinez in the documentary he said it was “a lot more complicated than just Dr Murray” going so far as to suggest that there were other medical people who contributed to Jackson’s death.

“There are a lot of folks who are to blame that have never had a reckoning for his death,” said Martinez.

Jackson and Debbie Rowe were married from 1996 to 1999. She is also the surrogate mother to two of Jackson’s children, Prince, 25 and Paris, 24.
