A woman took to social media ranting about her lazy husband who refused to help with household chores even when she was down with Covid.

She wrote that when her husband tested positive for Covid, she took care of him “buying food back, cooking and housework so he can rest well. On his 6th day, I tested positive too”.

In an anonymous post to popular confessions page SGWhispers, the woman wrote that it was unfortunate she and her husband got Covid one after the other.

She explained that she had aches and pains and was very tired. Since her husband was still on Medical Leave during the first two days she contracted the virus, she asked him to help her to get food. She also added that he had to steam some of his own clothes to wear to work.

“But he just ask me to call food delivery instead while he sit (sic) there and play (sic) games all day. So for 2 straight days, we ordered in. For the past 2 days, he don’t (sic) do the steaming of clothes”, the woman wrote.

She added that on Sunday, he woke her up asking how to do certain chores. He complained that it was difficult to use the steamer. When his wife told him that he could choose to go without steaming his clothes, he decided to steam them but grumbled about having to do so.

Agitated, his wife wrote that he wouldn’t even help to boil water. Though she asked him to buy an electric kettle, he insisted on a normal one so that larger quantities could be boiled at once. She added that even the one time she asked him to cook, he refused.
