Dear Editor
I fear that Singaporeans have been brainwashed for so long that they no longer possess common sense or the ability to think critically.
In any society, there will be those above, those below and the majority in between. I have absolutely no beef with that…this is reality.
However, if the chasm between the top 20% and the bottom 20% becomes too wide and ridiculous, it simply means something is wrong. And adjustments are needed.
Ask yourself a simple question – how much is the combined wealth of our Cabinet Ministers compared to the top ten per cent in Singapore? Now it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if they ARE the top ten per cent.
So do you think changes and adjustments are needed? You can bet your bottom dollar! But sadly, the majority of Singaporeans have become so docile and compliant that they gullibly believe the official narratives – whether it is the COVID vaccine, Ministerial pay or HDB flats.
