First million-dollar flats sold in Pasir Ris & Woodlands: 3 executive HDB flats resold for over S$1 million
An executive maisonette at Pasir Ris Street 13 and two executive flats in Woodlands was sold for over a million dollars each last month, marking a first for the two estates.
The Pasir Ris Street property, spanning 2,034 sq ft, was sold for S$1,138,888, while the Woodlands flats, both with a floor area of 2,034 sq ft, were sold for S$1.04 and S$1.03 million each, according to property websites 99.co and SRX on June 9.

Imagine the shock of a Housing and Development Board (HDB) flat owner when they entered their master bedroom and found a 100kg false ceiling on top of their bed. The incident is reported to have happened in a unit at Block 91 Dawson Road in Queenstown on June 8 at about 6:30 pm.
The owner, Ms Liu discovered after the ceiling had crashed that it was only installed with four small nails. She immediately informed the contractor of what happened and filed a police report. The concerned homeowner also warned the public about hiring contractors for home renovations.

A Facebook post from a woman named Reema Razif went viral on Tuesday (June 7), where she included a photo of herself, heavily pregnant and in a police uniform. Ms Razif claimed that in her 11-year career, her performance grade dropped because she was pregnant. She also listed the activities she was asked to do while she was pregnant, but noted that her sacrifices were “never enough.”
“Working throughout my pregnancies, lifting heavy equipments for my peers (Willingly), sacrificing meals because my work was my priority, getting into labour while at work for 2 out of 4 of my pregnancies, going to the hospital in my uniform, still did not suffice to see me as a ‘performing’ worker I guess,” she wrote.
