Netizens blast woman who shouted, ‘You’re just a bus driver, I don’t need to listen to you’

A misunderstanding between a bus captain and a woman turned ugly after the woman lost her temper and shouted at the bus captain.

Netizens were quick to condemn the woman, pointing out that the bus captain had only been doing her job.

A six-second video of the altercation, which occurred at 322 Sumang Walk in Punggol, widely shared on social media on Monday (March 14), was posted on the Facebook and Instagram pages of Singapore Incidents.

It was taken by a passenger on the bus.

Although the clip is very short, the woman’s anger is very clear, as she screams very loudly at the bus captain and points her finger in the other woman’s face.

The problem began after the bus captain told the woman’s helper to wait before boarding the bus with the pram she was pushing since an elderly woman in a wheelchair was still getting off.

The helper, apparently, had difficulty understanding the bus captain.

But her employer flew into a rage because the bus captain had told the helper not to board yet, and started shouting at the bus captain.

“You are a bus driver. I don’t need to listen to you,” the woman yelled in Mandarin and English.

Netizen, commenting on the Singapore Incidents page, were shocked at the woman’s rude behaviour.

One commenter even said that the bus captain should report the woman to the police.
