South Korea — South Korean entertainment portal Soompi reports that on the Dec 12 episode of SBS’s My Little Old Boy, Kim Heechul hosted Leetuek’s sister Park In Young’s wedding.
Leeteuk’s older sister’s wedding was attended by members of Super Junior to celebrate the happy occasion.
In the midst of witnessing Leeteuk accompany his sister down the aisle, Heechul muttered, “I feel weird. I’m getting teary.”
The song “It Has to be You” from the “Cinderella’s Sister” Super Junior’s Yesung later performed as the congratulatory song.
“First off, I just want to say thank you so much,” said Yesung before he began. Thank you so much for taking our older sister [in marriage].” He continued, “There’s something I promised noona a long time ago. I will sing that song now.”

Heechul’s mother told him after the first half of the ceremony, “You have to get married too. Not just serve as MC.” Heechul responded, “After seeing this, I think it’ll be harder to [get married].” His mother insisted, “We decided you would [get married] by next year. When you were 40 [by Korean reckoning].”
With the other members of Super Junior, Heechul joined them at their table. “I don’t want to get married because I’d be embarrassed to kiss in front of my parents,” Heechul said as the group watched the couple take photos while they were kissing. From the studio, his mom calmly responded, “You can do it.”
Heechul said, “I’m most curious about Choi Siwon’s wedding.” Kyuhyun added, “I think a lot of foreigners will also come to Siwon hyung’s wedding.” Heechul quipped, “Aren’t all those business people going to come too?”
Choi Siwon then inquired Heechul, “When do you want to get married?” Heechul answered, “When I was younger, I wanted to do it quickly, but I gradually want to do it less and less. I’ve been the MC [at weddings] a few times, but I don’t think it’ll be easy.”
Choi Siwon quipped, “Among our members, Ryeowook will probably get married first.” Super Junior made a wager two years ago with “My Little Old Boy” to see who could get married within three years, and Ryeowook came out on top. They even made a joke about not being permitted to get married before Ryeowook because of the bet they made.
“If one of our members gets married, I’m going to cry,” Kyuhyun said. Heechul added, “That’s because we know everything about them, starting from their past.” Eunhyuk agreed, saying, “I do think I’d cry.” Then Leeteuk said, “Yesung’s mom said this to me. That she wants the members to have a joint wedding.”
Choi Siwon and Kim Heechul were reunited as MCs for the second half of the wedding for the first time in 15 years when they hosted “Inkigayo” together. Even though they only read from the script, which made their fellow Super Junior members chuckle, the duo expressed happiness with their own performance at the end of the ceremony. /TISG
