Celebrity couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth filed for divorce three months ago following which Miley started dating Kaitlynn Carter in a whirlwind romance before dating Cody Simpson.
Reports said the singer is already making peace with her ex-husband and calling a truce between them.
Radar Online said both have agreed to put their differences aside after they decided to meet to prevent the messy divorce from getting out of hand.
According to an insider, the two of them have calmed down while Liam wants to close this chapter so he can move on.
Liam was spotted cosying up to Australian actress Madison Browne when the news of Liam and Miley burying the hatchet surfaced.
The insider added that Miley’s promised to play nice and has stopped being so bitter towards Liam and Maddison recently.
There is a possibility that Miley may find it hard to control her emotions when she meets her ex-husband although the two of them are trying to get their divorce done in the least dramatic way.
The insider added that the meeting has to be in a formal mediation setting instead of the tranquillity of their Nashville mansion.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth fell in love while filming The Last Song in 2009. In June 2012, the couple got engaged but broke up the following summer.
They were married for nine months before they decided to call it quits.
Rumours of the breakup started when 26-year-old Cyrus and 29-year-old Hemsworth began after the Mother’s Daughter singer uploaded a photo of herself on Instagram without her wedding ring.
It was reported that the breakup happened because Miley did not want to live her life as a housewife.
