Simon Cowell, judge of X Factor: Celebrity 2019 shed tears when he watched the contestant from this year’s series perform Snow Patrol’s Run for charity.
His partner Lauren Silverman rushed to his side as he was visibly emotional while watching the contestants’ performance of Run for Together For Short Lives and Shooting Star Children’s Hospice.
Host Dermot O’Leary noted the charities were incredibly important to him as Simon broke down in tears.
The contestants of X Factor: Celebrity came together to record a beautiful cover of Snow Patrol’s single Run.
The proceeds of the single will go to Together For Short Lives and Shooting Star Children’s Hospice.
A short music video of the contestants singing the track was shown to viewers. The charities meant a lot to Simon, Dermot told the viewers.
He could be seen in tears as the camera panned to the judges. Simon put his head in his hands and wiped at his eyes.
Simon didn’t need to talk about his thoughts on the single, according to Dermot.
Dermot told viewers that the boss is fine after Megan McKenna was crowned winner later on in the show.
