Nick Jonas admires wife Priyanka Chopra on Instagram

On Karva Chauth, a Hindu holiday that is celebrated by married women in India, Nick Jonas honoured his wife Priyanka.

27-year-old Nick Jonas is absolutely smitten with his 37-year-old wife Priyanka Chopra.

Nick Jonas recently uploaded two sweet pictures of the couple in traditional Indian outfits in celebration of Karva Chauth.

The caption read: “My wife is Indian. She is Hindu, and she is incredible in every way. She has taught me so much about her culture and religion,”

Priyanka also uploaded photos on her Instagram, simply writing “My everything.”

One of the photos show the duo hugging with Priyanka sticking out her tongue.

Another photo shows Nick making a ‘rock on’ motion. These two are definitely having a good time.

Dressed in a stunning red sari with gold embroidery and accessorised with stacked red bangles and gold jewelry, Priyanka looks amazing.

As for Nick, he wore a traditional Indian men’s outfit.

Nick Jonas talked about Indian tradition Karva Chauth in his Instagram post. The tradition is a one day festival celebrated annually by married Hindu women.

One-day fast and prayers by women for their husbands to live long, healthy lives are part of the customs.

The couple appeared to be celebrating in San Diego even though they live in New York City.

Nick was playing a concert with his brothers for their ‘Happiness Begins’ tour.

In a photo caption, Priyanka wrote:“Karwa chauth at a @jonasbrothers concert. Definitely a first I’ll always remember,”

The couple got married in India on 1 December, 2018 and Nick has welcomed Priyanka’s culture with open arms.

During the wedding, they had two religious ceremonies, one Hindu and one Christian.

The celebration was held for three days at the Jodhpur’s Royal Umaid Bhawan Palace.

“All our lives she fasted and made us fast for the perfect husband! This is the first year she actually has him!! Now my turn,” Parineeti Chopra jokingly commented. She is Priyanka’s cousin.

Both Priyanka and Parineeti will be voice acting for the Hindi version of Disney’s Frozen II. /TISG
