Fast and Furious actor slams writer

The Fast & Furious family relationship has been a little rocky in the past few years.

Vin Diesel doesn’t get on well with The Rock, Tyrese Gibson broke down on the internet and now Michelle Rodriguez seems to have problems with the writer.

Writer Chris Morgan has been writing Fast & Furious screenplays since Tokyo Drift, making him one of the backbones of the highly successful franchise.

Morgan shared about how they’re building towards a Han-Shaw payoff in a recent interview.

To sum it up, Shaw killed Han but is now being treated as a good guy.

The lines were specifically included in the latest Hobbs & Shaw movie to highlight that the angle is far from wrapped up.

Michelle Rodriguez wrote on Twitter that Chris Morgan has got absolutely nothing to do with where the ‘justice for Han’ narrative is heading.

“I’ve been around since the beginning way before Chris Morgan came along & he has absolutely nothing to do with where this narrative is or where it’s going FYI.”

Even though Rodriguez has been part of the Fast & Furious family longer than Morgan, she’s been involved in fewer films.

She was part of 1, 4, 6, 7, and 8 while Chris Morgan wrote 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and Hobbs & Shaw.

As far as the ‘justice for Han’ subplot goes, there is not reason why Morgan would be lying about something like that.

Morgan has been credited as the sole writer for all the films that have Han, making him the architect of the character, if not the franchise as a whole.

Has Michelle Rodrigues contribute ideas over the years in regards to the development of the Han character?

If she did and did not receive recognition for it, why would she call Chris Morgan out like that?

If you’re wondering if Michelle Rodriguez is simply being salty that The Rock and Jason Statham have now gone off and done their own thing, that doesn’t seem to be the case either. In fact, Rodriguez has expressed how happy she is for the beefy duo.
