Malaysia coffeeshop staff feeds teen with special needs, gains praise for kind gesture

Malaysia – Have your faith in humanity restored with this coffeeshop worker in Malaysia who stepped out of his way to feed a special-needs teenager.

On May 20, netizen Andy Lau went to Facebook to share a sweet moment he encountered while at a coffeeshop in Malaysia.

“This coffeeshop worker was feeding the disabled youth spaghetti. He is just a worker. No one has told him that he must do this, nor will he get any tips for the gesture. But he automatically lent a helping hand. Doesn’t he deserve a ‘like’?” read the caption.

Along with the caption, Lau also posted photos:

The post garnered over 34,000 reactions and 5,200 shares since uploaded, with many netizens praising the coffeeshop worker.

Many were reassured that there still exists warmth and love in the world while others commented on the behaviour that Malaysians share; the willingness to extend a helping hand to people of other races.
