Foldable phones are the latest trend (or goal) that tech giants nowadays are trying to achieve. Samsung has the rumoured Galaxy X and Apple must be working on something; although, the Royole FlexPai technically claimed the crown in 2018 as the first foldable and flexible Android phone in the market. The category for the first flex phone might have a winner already but the best foldable phone is still up for grabs and it looks like Xiaomi is gonna snatch that crown.
Twitter profile Evan Blass, a renowned tech leaker, recently uploaded a pixelized video in his account of an allegedly new phone being developed by Xiaomi. While he can’t speak for the authenticity of the video nor the device, just watching the clip is very amusing. The phone shows cutting-edge technology and folds twice seamlessly. So basically, you get a tablet and a mobile phone in one.
Can't speak to the authenticity of this video or device, but it's allegedly made by Xiaomi, I'm told. Hot new phone, or gadget porn deepfake? pic.twitter.com/qwFogWiE2F

And if that wasn’t enough of a leak, even Xiaomi’s president has uploaded a video of himself trying out the possible prototype.
It looks like netizens and even tech scrutinizers agree that the video is real because of the accurate UI that is unique to Xiaomi’s software design.
Meanwhile, others are asking for more and are requesting a stress test to be done on the phone.
The phone looks “crazy dam awesome”, doesn’t it? Only time will tell and perhaps in the upcoming Mobile World Congress whether or not we will be able to own this hot new gadget or not.
