Chris Hemsworth excited to join Star Wars

Chris Hemsworth, the Australian actor who plays the God of Thunder Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is interested in another popular franchise these days.

Times of India said Hemsworth was asked if he would like to be part of the popular Star Wars science-fiction franchise in which he responded, “Oh yeah, I’d love to.”

Another Avengers actor, Chris Evans who plays Captain America also showed interest to feature in the Star Wars films.

Kevin Feige, Marvel head is collaborating with Lucasfilm to develop a new Star Wars film.

It will be interesting to see both of the Avengers stars in the Star Wars universe in a year or two.

Hemsworth is starring in Marvel’s upcoming Thor film Thor: Love and Thunder which is scheduled to be screened 5 November 2021.

Born 11 August 1983 as Christopher Hemsworth, he rose to fame playing Kim Hyde in Australian TV series Home and Away.

He debuted his career in Hollywood acting in science fiction film Star Trek and thriller ‘A Perfect Getaway’.

Film credits include Snow White and the Huntsman, Red Dawn, Blackhat, In the Heart of the Sea, Ghostbusters, Men in Black film series spin-off Men In Black: International and The Cabin in the Woods. He also starred in biographical sports film Rush where he portrayed James Hunt.

Hemsworth’s most famous role is playing Thor, that’s part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He also recently acted in Avengers:Endgame which established him as one of the leading and highest-paid actors in the world.

Since appearing as Thor, Hemsworth’s physique gained attention from fans. His workout routine is regularly discussed in the media.

He created a paid fitness app called Centr that focuses on nutrition, wellness and exercise routines.

In 2014, Hemsworth was named ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ by People magazine.
