Woman wears dress made out of FairPrice plastic bags, performs fashion model walk at FairPrice Finest supermarket

There are many ways to get creative, including, it seems, fashioning a dress from plastic FairPrice grocery bags.

A woman, who already made the news some months ago for a frock made of betting slips from Singapore Pools, recently caught people’s eyes once again with a floor-length plastic gown.

In a TikTok clip, a woman wearing the gown and carrying a bouquet, bride style, caused heads to turn at a FairPrice mart, and one auntie even got down on the ground to take a photo of the model.

The creator, who hails from Indonesia and goes by @lambeturahtkw on TikTok, started posting last week about the new dress, but in stages.

First, she showed that she had a lot of FairPrice bags at home.

In the next video, she showed a sketch of the dress, which featured the chain’s logo in front.

She then showed how the bags were cut, and then sewed together.

To be fair, the process of putting the dress together certainly seems like a complicated one.

This was her first dress, modelled by the creator herself. Screen Shot 2022 05 18 at 12.12.21 PM

But it was all worth it in the end, as people seemed to be delighted at her creation, which was modelled by another friend and fellow TikToker.
