Singapore — Was the Night Owl Cinematics (NOC) saga concerning co-founder Sylvia Chan fated? Was it set in the stars that she would have to have her business decisions and behaviour in the company laid out publicly for all to see?
Well, a tarot card reader seemed to think so.
During a Tarot card prediction in June 2021 that was filmed during Sylvia Chan’s and Nina Tan’s podcast The Thirsty Sisters predicted the challenges that would befall Ms Chan.
In a 1-minute-30-second-long clip, the Tarot card reader could be heard telling Ms Chan: “It seems like in the near future, there is another decision that you have to make, and then, when that time comes right, you will not want to make that decision”.
“You would want to almost be in denial and pretending that you don’t need to make the decision. There will be a decision coming in the near future, so, roughly say, 6 months down the road”, the Tarot card reader said.
She added that the decision could involve things like Ms Chan’s assets, or certain business plans “because a lot of your lives are intertwined”, she said. The Tarot card reader then told Ms Chan that it would be vital for her to move on.
“So this card coming up, it’s telling you that there is this possibility that you will not be as objective as you want. That’s why you find it difficult to make that decision”, she added.
The Tarot card reader seemed insistent and sure that Ms Chan’s difficult decision would come about in about six months from June.
Sylvia Chan, filed a Magistrate’s Complaint and several police reports for death threats and alleged harassment, among other claims, her spokesman said in response to media queries on Thursday (Oct 21). /TISG
