Migrant worker falls into coma; family asking for financial help to bring him home to M’sia

Singapore – A Malaysian worker in Singapore has fallen into a coma after undergoing surgery at Khoo Tech Puat Hospital. His family is appealing to the public for financial assistance to bring him home.

One Rk Tana took to Facebook page Malaysia-Singapore Border Crossers (MSBC) to share the story of 26-year-old Thines A/L Purushothaman.

The concerned individual said that on Nov 5, Mr Purushothaman had an operation at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

He had suffered from “major brain damage” while working in Singapore.

Following the operation, Mr Purushothaman went into a comatose state, his condition worsening.

Doctors have advised that he goes for another immediate operation at KPJ Johor Medical Centre in Malaysia.

However, Mr Purushothaman’s family is in need of financial help to bring him back to Malaysia, covering the transportation and medical expenses.
