Delivery rider gives away free pizzas worth $160 to Pasir Ris people after customer cancels order, sharing ‘slice’ of kindness to make everyone’s day

Is this where we say “faith in humanity restored?”

After watching a TikTok from a FoodPanda rider who decided to give away $160 worth of pizza from Pizza Hut all over Pasir Ris when an order got cancelled, it would be pretty hard not to.

Mr Lutfil Latiff, 24, said he ended up feeling “pretty great” about himself after bringing joy to people when he gave away 10 boxes of pizza as well as some chicken wings. He even says at the end of the video, “Maybe I should do this more often.”

GIVING FREE PIZZAS AWAY TO THE PEOPLE OF PASIR RIS! 🍕🍕🍕 WATCH TIL THE END! Wasn’t expecting to be in this situation but random acts of kindness is always great for anyone and i felt so good about myself after feeling utterly shitty these past few weeks. I feel like doing this more often now 🥹 (thanks to the guy that cancelled his order, you made a lot of people’s day today) God bless and i hope all of you guys have a great day today 🙏

We challenge you not to smile at seeing Mr Lutfil give away free food. After all, he could have chosen to keep at least some of the food in the freezer, which would have surely cut down on his expenses. In these days of food inflation, this is no small deal.

But as he says he is on a diet, he decided to give everything away.

He decided to be generous after FoodPanda told him that the order was basically his.

He gave away the pizzas to strangers, including one man at a void deck, and also to his neighbours, knocking on doors and explaining his story.

At one point, a neighbour asks him, “But you have enough for you?”

Mr Lutfil answers quickly, “I have enough for myself.”

After that, he goes around Pasir Ris distributing more pizzas.

Toward the end of the video, he approaches another man and asks, “Are you bulking or cutting?”

And when the man says he’s bulking, Mr Lutfil proceeded to give him a box of chicken wings.

The video has been viewed over 100,000 times since it was posted on Aug 7.

Netizens commenting on TikTok thanked the delivery rider for his kindness.   Screen Shot 2022 08 10 at 8.00.43 AM Screen Shot 2022 08 10 at 8.00.51 AM Screen Shot 2022 08 10 at 8.00.59 AM Screen Shot 2022 08 10 at 8.01.07 AM Screen Shot 2022 08 10 at 8.01.16 AM Screen Shot 2022 08 10 at 8.01.30 AM Screen Shot 2022 08 10 at 8.01.34 AM Screen Shot 2022 08 10 at 8.01.44 AM
