Customer: Parcel delivery guy throws packages before running off, asks ‘What I want now?’ when confronted

A customer used to laugh at the bad service from certain parcel delivery couriers until he experienced it personally on multiple occasions.

A member of Facebook group Complaint Singapore shared how his parcels were delivered, such as being left in the open at the doorstep or blocking the gate and preventing him from exiting properly.

“This time, this guy threw my neighbour’s parcel on the floor and threw mine in and ran off,” said the disgruntled customer.

He tagged Ninja Van Singapore in the post, indicating the courier that delivered the package.

“I ran up and confronted this huge guy which he kept denying he didn’t throw my package and asked me, ‘What I want now?’”

The customer attached photos of the package bent at the bottom after being dropped to the ground.

He noted in a comment that he had already placed two signs informing delivery personnel on where to leave the parcels, including a photo of the designated shoe cabinet.

The “Fragile and Handle with Care” sticker on the plastic didn’t help either.

It appears that others experience the same from the company, such as Facebook user Heli Hob Poh whose bulky item was left in front of the gate. “I had to get the neighbour to help open the gate!”

“Recently, ninja delivery is getting worse. They used to leave my items in the gas or water room next to my unit. Now they just leave it outside by the gate,” shared another netizen.

According to Facebook user Goh Eng Chin, customers could opt for cash on delivery to avoid such handling of packages. “They have no choice but to knock on your door, so they can collect money from you,” he noted. /TISG
