Aaron Kwok celebrates 56th birthday with rare family photo

Hong Kong — Due to his hectic filming schedule, Heavenly King Aaron Kwok usually spends his birthday working. Nevertheless, the singer-actor was able to celebrate the occasion this year with his family as production has been completed for his latest film, The White Storm 3.

On Oct 26, Aaron Kwok turned 56. He is married to Chinese model Moka Fang, and they share two daughters, Chantelle, four and Charlotte, two.

On Tuesday, the singer-actor posted on Weibo several photos of the celebration. He wrote in Chinese: “Thank you, everyone, for the well wishes. I would also like to wish everyone good health and all the best.”

The family of four was seen wearing different shades of pink in the photos, and his daughters made a rare appearance on his social media account. The star hardly posts photos of his family, while his wife usually does so with the back of their daughters facing the camera. It was one of the rare times the two children faced the camera, albeit with their eyes covered by emojis.

Fang, 34, shared the same post on Weibo later on Tuesday and wrote: “Big happy birthday, hubby.”

The White Storm 3 was shot in Hong Kong and China’s Yunnan and Guangdong provinces.

The thematic sequel to The White Storm 2: Drug Lords (2019) also stars Hong Kong actors Louis Koo and Sean Lau, reported Straits Times.

Born Oct 26, 1965, Aaron Kwok Fu-shing is a Hong Kong singer, dancer, and actor. Active since the 1980s, Kwok is known as one of the “Four Heavenly Kings” of Hong Kong.

Dubbed the “God of Dance”, Kwok’s onstage dancing is influenced by the late American performer Michael Jackson. He has released over 30 studio albums in Cantonese and Mandarin, with most of his songs being in the dance-pop genre, with elements of rock, R&B, soul, electronica and traditional Chinese music.

Concurrently with his music career, Aaron Kwok started as an actor with a role in the TVB television drama Genghis Khan (1987), followed by Twilight of a Nation (1988), Man from Guangdong (1991), Heartstrings (1994), and Wars of Bribery (1996). /TISG
