Inessa Irdayanty reveals she has depression

Kuala Lumpur — Things have not been easy for 31-year-old actress Inessa Irdayanty ever since her mother, veteran actress Azean Irdawaty passed away eight years ago, and she also lost her brother, actor Benjy Ibrahim in July.

The actress revealed during an Instagram video that she suffered from bouts of depression and had “never stopped crying” since her mother left her.

Kuala Lumpur — Veteran Malaysian actor Faizal Hussein has been in the film industry for many years, and he mentioned that it is getting harder and harder to compete with younger actors in the industry.

The 54-year-old had a virtual media conference with mStarThe Star’s Malay-language portal where he said that it remains a challenge to try to keep up in the industry.

Kuala Lumpur — For the past two years, Malaysian actor Tony Eusoff has been without a job as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and Movement Control Order (MCO).

The actor said that he missed going to film sets, and often feared that the indefinite MCO could force him into bankruptcy.
