Not ‘practical’ to extend 5-person dining in rule to S’poreans: Gan Kim Yong on Bloomberg Forum

Singapore — In response to news that local and foreign delegates at the upcoming Bloomberg New Economy Forum (NEF) would be allowed to dine in groups of up to five people, Trade and Industry Minister Gan Kim Yong said that this could not be extended to Singaporeans.

On Monday (Oct 25), Mr Gan announced that given the importance of NEF in helping Singapore maintain its hub city status, groups of up to five delegates would be allowed to dine together at forum venues and designated restaurants in the city.

Former employees of WWF Singapore expose bullying, toxic work environment

Singapore — A French woman who worked at the Singapore chapter of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) claims to have been bullied by her superior when she was employed at the non-governmental organisation from July 2015 to February 2017.

After she moved to Australia for another job, she was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), reported South China Morning Post on Sunday (Oct 24).

Jamus Lim: Workers’ Party will continue to voice out for those unable to be vaccinated

Singapore—Workers’ Party MP Jamus Lim (Sengkang GRC) revealed over social media on Tuesday morning (Oct 26) that he received his Covid-19 booster shot at the Sengkang GRC Community Club. 

IN THE SAME POST,  HE REITERATED THE COMMITMENT OF THE WP TO “VOICE OUT” ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE WHO CANNOT  GET VACCINATED “FOR MEDICAL REASONS (ALONG WITH MANY, MANY OTHER QUESTIONS ON COVID19-RELATED PUBLIC HEALTH POLICY).”

Lee Suet Fern makes bow ties for one of her sons, and adds “The husband then did not want to be left out, but he needed pre-tied ones”

Singapore — Sharing a photo of the bow tie made by his wife, Lee Hsien Yang said that he was proud.

In his Facebook page, Mr Lee, the younger brother of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong shared the Instagram link of Mrs Lee’s post which shows photos of the bow ties she made for her son and husband.

Leaked videos reveal the identity of NOC talent ‘A’

Singapore — During her long interview with blogger Xiaxue, the 33-year-old co-founder of Night Owl Cinematics (NOC) Sylvia Chan told her side of the story.

During the interview, Xiaxue raised questions on the alleged sex barter trade Sylvia was involved in. Sylvia laughs in response and says that a trade must have give and take. NOC makes videos to be posted online, it’s not a retail company as there are no goods to be delivered.
