The New Paper reported today (29 Oct) that the police are investigating a case of students from an all boys’ school taking upskirt pictures and videos of their teachers. it is unclear who made the police report, but the school has dealt with the students. One student who was admitted to the school after committing a similar offence in another school was expelled and several others were caned. Seven boys in total were found to have taken the pictures and videos with their smartphones. Twenty-three others received and/or shared the images the newspaper said.

The boy who was expelled had some of the pictures and videos in his possession, but he was not the one who recorded them, said the school principal. The all boys’ school was not identified by the paper. The principal further told the paper that the school received information about the offence on 5 Oct and started investigating soon after. he said that he gave the affected teachers permission to lodge a police report while internal investigations were ongoing in the school. Most of the boys were in Secondary 2 and 3, while a handful were Secondary 1 students. The school only punished the boys after the exams.Follow us on Social Media
