Massive blaze engulfs terrace house under construction near Little India

Firefighters are presently putting out a massive blaze that fully engulfed a residential private property at 82 Sing Avenue, this evening.

A video capturing the incident, that was posted on social media by eyewitness Abul Kalam Azad, shows that the police were also deployed to the scene. A large crowd can be seen in the video gathered near the police vehicle, watching as the fire roars and reaches great height:

Others from the scene reported that a “burning smell” lingered in the air as the atmosphere filled with thick smoke.
