Man found with multiple stab injuries at Northpoint Shopping Centre conveyed to hospital

Several Twitter users shared pictures of a man being stabbed in Northpoint Shopping Centre at about 1pm today (12 Aug). Some even thought that the man had been murdered.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) spokesperson however confirmed that the man was still alive. SCDF said that it was informed of the incident at 1.22pm; and that it despatched an ambulance and conveyed a man in his 20s to Khoo Teck Puat hospital.

“He had multiple injuries and the hospital was on standby to receive him,” the spokesperson added.

The incident allegedly happened outside the Banquet food court on the third level of the shopping mall in Yishun. Follow us on Social Media
