Man falls off second floor window ledge in Hougang block while drinking

A 39-year-old man fell from the second floor of Block 570, Hougang Street 51 last Sunday evening.

The man had allegedly fallen off the window ledge where he’d been sitting, drinking beer, according to the Chinese daily. Neighbours reported that there was a pool of blood where the man landed.

Police officers were alerted to the incident at 7.49pm and the SCDF was called on to assist with an ambulance. The conscious man was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital and is said to have suffered head injuries from the fall.

Reporters noted that the police had cordoned off an area the size of a basketball court on the ground floor. Investigations are ongoing.
