Heartbreaking viral video: Maid abuses disabled, helpless elderly man with knocks and flying kick

A video that went viral of a maid who repeatedly hit an elderly, disabled man who is wheelchair bound has sparked online outrage.

The video showed the maid hitting the helpless old man as she fed him. And at one point, she even gives him a flying kick.

Commenters who responded to the video said the incident happened in Vietnam and that the maid is Indonesian. The elderly man’s children filed a police report after watching the CCTV footage and the maid has been jailed.

The video which was shared by Facebook user Phạm Thị Liên has garnered about 4,000 comments and 186,000 shares within 24 hours.
