Facebook user Ivy Yeo shared several pictures and a video of maggot infestation in a pastry she bought at Four Leaves bakery outlet in Hougang Mall. She said that she found the maggots in a mini-sausage bun she got for her 8-year-old son. Her post has now gone viral with over 8,000 shares since being posted last night at about 10pm.

The user said that she bought the pastry on Sunday (16 April). Netizens who responded to her post suggested that the bakery, instead of discarding old pastries, must have kept it for days hoping that it would be sold to an unsuspecting customer.
Ivy said that the bakery had contacted her, assuring her that they are investigating the matter using their internal processes.
