Family of young children upset that NTUC has a betting outlet in Foodfare

Singapore Pools has opened a betting outlet at the NTUC Foodfare in Seletar Mall and at least one parent is upset that the Union-linked food-court has allowed the state-owned lottery company to operate in its premises.

The parent who has asked to remain anonymous said: “It’s really shitty cos there are families with children sitting there for meals and here you have queues of adults lining up to gamble.”

Singapore Pools has at least another betting outlet in a NTUC Foodfare outlet located at Blick 308 Anchorvale Rd, also in Sengkang.
