Dramatic rescue by SCDF officers of woman who was precariously perched on highrise window

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) saved a woman who was precariously seated on a windowsill of a highrise HDB flat. According to Shin Min Daily News, the incident happened on Friday (9 Nov) afternoon at Woodlands St 81.

The officers from SCDF had also deployed an inflatable mattress below the flat. Some officers who took positions in a flat above where the woman was with a net, rappelled down quickly an without the woman noticing them, to save her.
