Another oil spill, this time on PIE – 2 lanes closed

Land Transport Authority has tweeted that 2 lanes along Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) are closed due to an oil spill caused by an accident.


This is the second accident involving oil tankers in our expressways in the past few days.
On 29 January, an oil tanker got into an accident with a car on a section of the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) after Mandai leading to the Pan-island Expressway, which brought traffic on a stretch of BKE to a crawl for more than half a day.Follow us on Social Media
