18 year-old arrested for Ultra Music Festival ticket scam

Police said in a news realease on Friday (16 Sep) that they have arrested an 18-year-old teenager for cheating.

The teenager allegedly offered discounted tickets to the music festival by placing online advertisements. After the victims paid for the tickets, he could no longer be contacted.

Multiple reports were received between 23 Aug and 5 Sep from victims, leading to his arrest along Jalan Chegar yesterday.

He will be charged in court on Saturday. If convicted, he faces a jail sentence of up to 10 years and a fine.Follow us on Social Media
