What would you do if your neighbour had one refrigerator too many in his apartment?
One resident decided to complain to his MP about it. The MP in-turn wrote in to Housing & Development Board (HDB) about the case of ‘excessive refrigerators’, and HDB acted quick to resolve it.
This reply from HDB was one of several the Member of Parliament (MP) for Aljunied GRC, Pritam Singh, shared in referring to a letter in a newspaper which said “Civil servants must ‘serve with heart, not just execute policies’“.
In sharing the replies, Mr Singh expressed his appreciation to civil servants for serving with their hearts.
But how does one have ‘excessive refrigerators’ in the house?
We certainly did not know that it is against HDB rules to have one too many fridge in your HDB flat.
