He said he was very proud of the Ip Man franchise for maintaining its quality and popularity.

He added that usually a movie series does not have more than two sequels because things go downhill by the third film. However, the first three Ip Man films were loved by many and he is sure that people will not be disappointed this time either.

The 56-year-old actor left an impression on the next generation of kung fu actors.

Chan, who plays Bruce Lee, an apprentice of Ip Man in the film said that as soon as Donnie arrives on set, everyone will quiet down to show their respect as an apprentice would. /TISG
