South Korean actress Goo Hye Sun recently updated her Instagram for the first time since Sept 3, with a photo of her in a hospital.

The caption writes, “I was hospitalised this summer but I’m still here. My book has arrived so I’m reading it. Stay healthy.”
In another post, she wrote that she will submit her piece titled ‘World without you is void’ to Art Fair Singapore.
It was previously reported that Goo Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun made waves with their public divorce battle with the actress’s lawyer announcing that she’d be retiring from the entertainment industry.
South Korean celebrity couple Ahn Jae-hyun and Goo Hye-sun split recently after an intense and heated exchange of words between the two that went on for weeks.
Following that, there was a deafening silence from both the screen stars over the last few days which may have left fans wondering.
The reason is a supposed ‘gag order’ that was in place following the intervention of their respective lawyers and friends.
Allkpop, a Korean pop culture website quoted an insider saying that the couple “do not want to be talked about anymore”.
The media tried to contact the couple’s lawyers to reveal details of the couple’s divorce process but there was no response.
“We cannot make any comments on this matter. We are sorry,” was the only statement issued.
While it is unsure who are the parties involved in the mediation and what were the terms of the ‘gag order’, many have taken the lack of comment even from their friends and close acquaintances as proof of the directive.
Since the divorce of South Korean actress Goo Hye-sun and actor Ahn Jae-hyun, fans of Goo Hye-sun are up in arms against Ahn Jae-hyun despite him finally opening up with his side of the story.
Goo’s revelation that Ahn had a change of heart over their marriage. His calling other women in reply to his explanation of the matter led to a roasting of the actor on social media and increasing calls for him to quit their favourite shows.
Fans asked him to quit his role in the New Journey to the West television series which is now entering its seventh season and they have demanded that he withdraws from another series scheduled for airing in November.
